I am now certified to train ReDISCovering Conflicts, which looks at how personality styles play into conflict development, duration and resolution. and offers a fresh approach to dealing with conflict management (see Training tab for more information on this program). Updated my DISC certification to learn new skills, insights, and best practices to facilitate DISC training sessions.
Finishing up the development of eLearning courses for new school nutrition employees: Quick Start and Welcome to School Nutrition.
Designed, developed and converted the ICN's Human Resource Series (7 courses) using the new Articulate Storyline 360 software. I have to say, there is nothing like learning a new software program to keep your brain from falling into a rut :).
Headed to Ole Miss again for more training at the Institute of Child Nutrition (ICN). This time was for re-certification to train the updatedNutrition 101--A Taste of Food and Fitness course. Earlier this year, I was also certified to train their new Procurement training module calledForecasting the Procurement of Foods. This is a great training for anyone involved in procuring foods for their school nutrition program.
Attended the 2017 Presentation Summit in Clearwater FL (great location!) which is an outstanding conference if you are a presenter or involved with presentations. The topics and presenters were fantastic and I came away with tons of great ideas and tips to use. And speaking of presentation design, in January I was kept pretty busy designing the PowerPoint presentations for a law firm's all-day seminars.
