Training is one of the best ways to upgrade skills and continue with professional development for both you and your team. But for training to be impactful, it needs to be more than a "talking-head" droning on reading a PowerPoint filled with bullet points. Instead, it needs to address the questions "What's in it for me?" and "Why should I spend my time learning this info?" Training needs to be meaningful to the participant for them pay attention.
I've been conducting trainings for over 30 years, and each training I do builds on the lessons I've learned from all the previous trainings. I want to help the audience learn and develop. Often a simple change in perspective and looking at situations from different angles can make all the difference.
When you look at the true cost of training; the cost of the training PLUS the total cost of each participant's time multiplied by the number of participants, don't you want a training that "sticks" and delivers?
